Do I need to be a CAD designer to work in this role?

No CAD experience required for this role. This function is for any user in the organization working on product development, including Product Managers, Field/Application Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, System Analysts, Product Development Staff, etc.

How does this role help track product-related concerns and, if necessary, initiate a change process?

Users are able to report concerns against products and then decide if these issues can be remedied by a Change Action. Change Actions offer the instructions for requested changes and keep track of all implemented modifications. Change Actions consist of a peer validation and change approval process that ensures the change is not implemented until the modifications have been fully validated and authorized

How can this role assist me in visualizing my products if I do not have any CAD applications installed?
